Few days ago, I walked into a makeup store, asking for help with picking the right foundation. The makeup artist was patiently choosing the best shade for me. I was pleased with what I saw in the mirror. I was all happy and I spent a good amount of money on that and some other products. But once I walked out of the store, my friend told me I took really different. The color of my skin looked so unnatural, and the makeup looked so thick and cakey. I then realized the lighting in the store could be the problem.
Choosing the right foundation can be a tough task. We have taught that foundation should look natural on us, it should disappear into our skin. We might be suggested to test the foundation under different lighting, but what if lighting is the problem? How do we choose the best foundation for both outdoor and indoor?
Have you ever had this problem? How did/would you solve this?
